How am I protected against loss or damage during my move?

Basic protection in the amount of .60 per item is included free of charge on all moves. Customers can also purchase replacement value protection that will cover the replacement cost in the event that an item is damaged or lost.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, certified checks, and all major credit cards. There is a 3% fee for credit card payments.

How far in advance shold I book my move?

Although we do not have a certain cut-off time, we recommend that you book your move in far in advance as possible. This helps to guarantee that your ideal day and time are available and it helps us to assist you with planning your move.

Is Move for Less, LLC licensed and insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and we carry Cargo, Motor Vehicle, and General Liability Insurance.

Do I need to empty out my dressers when moving?

No. You can leave your clothing in your drawers. Your dressers will be padded shrink wrapped and padded which will not only protect them while in transit, it will prevent the drawers from opening.

Can the movers dispose of trash or unwanted items during the moving day?

We can dispose of unwanted furniture and household items for a fee. The amount of the fee is based on the number and size of the items being discarded. We are unable to dispose of food and perishable items.

Can I help the movers with moving my belongings?

Sure, you are welcome to help our movers by bringing items to the truck. However, due to insurance regulations, we do not allow customers to bring items or come into our trucks. This part can only be done by our employees.

I had a great experience with Move for Less. Brian was super helpful and communicative when setting up my move over the phone. Edwin was an awesome point person who called the day before to confirm time and if any inventory changed! Lastly, Edwin and Devon worked like a well oiled machine loading/unloading my furniture while Tommy expertly took apart my very large and heavy bedroom furniture and put it back together in my new home. The whole day was very stress free on my end because Edwin, Tommy, and Devon did such a great job moving me quickly and efficiently! Thank you!!

We have used Move for Less on three separate occasions, twice to load PODS and then once to move us into our new house. For our move, we had appliances to be picked up at two separate locations and then the PODs to be unloaded. The four man crew divided so while two were picking up appliances the others were unloading the PODs. Edwin and his crews are phenomenal, we can't say enough positive things about Move for Less. From the office staff to the moving crews everyone is so nice and very helpful. We highly recommend Move for Less.

My best experience with movers. Edwin and his team were friendly, professional and super quick! They were very considerate of me, my family and my house. They were nice, funny and respectful throughout the entire process. Two small little dings to walls did happen when they had to move some of the huge stuff , but the company took initiative to get fixes done for us right away. Also, they finished in under the quoted time, which was a plus!

We scheduled a pick for a major furniture donation to the Gathering Place, Cleveland, OH through Rick Eickoff, a friend, We were concerned about damage to our house, and to the donated furniture if the pick-up personnel were not professional.
