    Whether you’re moving across the street or across town, Move for Less is dedicated to making your moving experience as simple and stress free as possible. Move for Less services: Cleveland, Akron, Lorain, Elyria, and surrounding areas.

    The charges for local moves are usually based on labor time. If you would prefer a flat rate for your move, a Move for Less representative can meet with you at your home to
    provide you with a flat rate quote.

    With many moving companies, your billing time starts when your movers leave their warehouse and ends when they return to their warehouse at the end of the day. With Move for Less, you are not billed until your movers arrive at your home and the time ends when the job is completed at your new home..

    2 Man Crew:

    $110 per hour
    $110 one time travel fee

    3 Man Crew:

    $140 per hour
    $140 one time travel fee

    4 Man Crew:

    $170 per hour
    $170 one time travel fee

    Note : $10 hourly upcharge for Saturday and Sunday moves)

    1. There is no additional charge for furniture assembly / disassembly

    2. Additional charges may be applied if objects require hoisting

    3. Travel fee may be slightly higher for moves originating more than 30 miles from our warehouse

    Payment
    Payment is accepted in the form of cash or major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover). Personal checks are not accepted.

    A deposit equal to the travel fee is due to reserve your move. Payment for the first two hours of service is due upon the arrival of the movers. Final payment is due upon completion of the move.

    Keep in mind that the average hours for residential moves are:

    1 bedroom apartment: 3-4 hours

    2 bedroom apartment 4-6 hours

    3 bedroom apartment 5-7 hours

    2 bedroom house 4-8 hours

    3 bedroom house 6-12 hours

    4 + bedroom house 8-12 hours

    These averages are to be used for estimation purposes only. Many factors affect the actual moving time including: flights of stairs, oversized furniture, smaller doorways, assembly / disassembly times, distance of walk to the truck, etc.

    Valuation Protection
    During your move, your goods are covered at a rate of .60 per pound as required by the Ohio Public Utilities Commission.
